The Valley

The valley is Walsden again, one of my favourite subjects. The drama of the view is heightened by the light that has the cool autumnal morning sun to work its magic. The trees are turning gold and the grass has dried up and browned. This is a stunning painting and the power of watercolour gives it a special quality.
