Smallhythe Place in Kent,  an old Yeoman’s cottage from an England that was. Later the home of a Victorian actress , Helen Terry, treading the boards in the late eighteen hundreds, now settling down to the pleasure of visitors, soaking up the history and the evening sun. A watercolour from my Kent collection.
