Imagine my excitement when I saw this collection on the tiny harbour at Dunure, along the Ayrshire coast.
The composition could not be bettered, all the colour and contrast was flooded with warm afternoon light. A quick photo was all I could do at the time but later on at home it all came back to life in glorious watercolour.
